His professional experience includes drafting and negotiating agreements, legal opinions, memorandums, corporate documents, and other legal instruments, as well as representing clients in civil, commercial, administrative, criminal-related proceedings, and international commercial arbitration matters.
He also advises on matters related to banking, currency control, privatization, IT, labor, and contract law, conducts legal research and comparative analysis of domestic and foreign legislation, and regularly participates in professional and academic activities through publications, lectures, and presentations for legal organizations and businesses. In addition, Andrii served as Counsel at the Advisory Office of the Ministry for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, where he provided legal support to Ukrainian non-profit charitable organizations focused on supplying essential military equipment and medical aid to the front lines.
Andrii also advises clients on legal and regulatory matters related to cryptocurrencies, digital assets, and blockchain-based business activities.
Several Key Projects:
● provided legal support to an IT group in connection with the auction and privatization of real estate located in the center of Lviv, valued at over UAH 440 million;
● represented a major Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturer before the Supreme Court in a complex dispute concerning sanctions imposed for alleged violations of gas consumption terms;
● defended a company operating in the alternative energy sector in a land dispute and consulted on matters related to the cancellation of green tariffs;
● acted for an international investor in proceedings challenging the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Permit issued for the construction of a chipboard and OSB board plant in Ukraine, involving an estimated investment of EUR 400 million;
● represented a Polish bank holding a controlling stake in a Ukrainian bank in litigation concerning the challenge of a squeeze-out procedure initiated by former shareholders;
● handled a series of arbitrations before the ICAC at the UCCI on behalf of a major pharmaceutical company arising from the termination of license agreements due to substantial changes in circumstances;
● acted for a large logistics and transportation company before the ICAC at the UCCI in debt recovery proceedings under a sales contract concluded with a Polish business partner;
● advised and represented a major Japanese trading company in a dispute concerning the invalidation of an agreement;
● defended one of the largest logistics centers in Western Ukraine in proceedings initiated by the prosecutor’s office seeking the return of 7 hectares of land to state ownership.
