Arzinger’s South Ukrainian Branch defended successfully the interests of a large Ukrainian bank – member of a well-known European Financial group – in a high-profile labour dispute with the former head of one of its regional branches

On November 19, 2014 the Court of Appeals of general jurisdiction in one of the South regions of Ukraine supported the bank’s appeal and ruled on dismissing the claims of the former head of a regional branch, who challenged the legality of his dismissal for violation of labor discipline in the form of falsification of credit agreements and financial statements, whereby the bank suffered reputational and material damage estimated provisionally at UAH 17 million.

The Bank’s interests in the above dispute were represented by the team of the South Ukrainian Branch of Arzinger comprised of Counsel Andriy Selyutin and Senior Associate Anton Molchanov.
