Timur Bondaryev was re-elected as the co-chairman of the Real Estate Committee of the ACC

In March 2009, Arzinger’s senior partner Timur Bondaryev was re-elected for the position of the co-chairman of the Real Estate Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce. Natalya Stelmah, the Associate Director and the Head of the Investment Department of the company DTZ, will co-head the Committee along with Timur Bondaryev.
Timur Bondaryev had previously co-headed the Real Estate Committee together with Andriy Sosnovskyi from the Tebofin Ukraine CFI.
Due to Arzinger’s experience in the real estate and construction sphere, Timur Bondaryev has extensive expertise and deep understanding of foreign investors’ activity in Ukraine. He is also head of the Real Estate and Construction Practice of Arzinger.
Obstacles preventing foreign investors from working in Ukraine are caused primarily by the drawbacks of Ukrainian legislation in the real estate sphere. This is precisely why legislative activity will become the focus of the Committee in 2009, which will aim to bring about liberalization of the Ukrainian laws in the real estate sphere and clarify the legislation’s peculiarities to the ACC members.
Timur Bondaryev intends to strengthen the influence of the Committee on governmental authorities with the goal of accelerating the adoption of the necessary reforms in the real estate sphere and strengthening the Committee’s role in society as a powerful lobbying mechanism and government relations conduit.
