ARZINGER together with WWF Ukraine implement a project to improve energy efficiency
ARZINGER's Energy & Natural Resources, Environmental and Sustainable Development practice, together with WWF Ukraine, implemented a legal project aimed at improving energy efficiency and developing transparent mechanisms for financing relevant measures.
As part of the cooperation, our experts prepared an analytical report focusing on reducing the use of forest biomass in Ukraine. They also analysed international and national experience in this area and worked to create a convenient system of subgrants to finance energy-efficient solutions.
Our associates facilitated a dialogue between public and private financial institutions to ensure a transparent distribution of funds. In addition, the project resulted in preparing a systematic algorithm of actions for implementing energy efficiency measures in municipalities.
ARZINGER’s partner Anzhelika Livitska, and paralegals Taras Sherbul and Dmytro Ladyniak worked on the project. And also Valeriia Kolomiets (Conservation Director), Mykhailo Bohomaz (Head of Forest Practice) and Iryna Protsenko (Forest Project Officer) from WWF-Ukraine.
